I think my car is going to die

ignore the rusty exhaust pipe lol

went up north, 200 odd km away, came back and the car was doing this :S took it to my mechanic and he thought it was doing it just cause it was a hot from the long drive, thought okay what ever, still doing it even when the car is dead cold grr
car only has 160,000 km's had a very recent service

any ideas on whats wrong :S

Is your car 4 or 6 cylinder motor?

Engine bay sounds like its needs new timing belts has that been done yet? Also check air inlet manifold make sure the valve moves freely. Other than that you might have a crack in your exhaust line somewhere. Good luck man

Is that belt slowing down and speeding up

im pretty sure the belts are pretty new.. i think im going to not drive it until it gets to a mechanic, its starting to cough out black smoke

and theres a knocking nose when it does cough out smoke, but sometimes it will run like a dream no worries.... gahh

Reseat the spark plug leads on the plugs and make sure the coil packs are ok.
