Adjusting automatic light control sensitivity

Recommended Posts

We have just taken delivery of a 2008 Tarago GLi and although have so far found it to be a pleasant vehicle to drive have found the automatic light control to be set on the wrong side of dark. By this I mean that the lights come on at a point darker than what we would like and they go off before it is light enough to be comfortable.

The owners manual indicates that this can be changed and to contact our Toyota dealer for details. Is there anyone in this forum that might know how we can change this ourselves?

And while on the subject of changing the characteristics ofthe vehicles automatic functions are there any others we can change to customise the vehicle to our liking? Such as perhaps the timing of the headlights going off when we leave the vehicle when parked.

Thanks and appreciation in advance.
