My wiper arms were getting quite old and worn so i replaced the whole arm with some TomCat boneless wiper blades ($44 for the pair). Looks alot cleaner than the conventional stuff, but most importantly, they work like nothing i've ever seen before! I also repositioned the wiper arm so that the blades are tucked away as low as possible (normally it would be sitting a few cm's higher)

MRJ2028-2 ..... Take that part number into SCA and say i want these, chances are if you ask for blades for an aurion and get some little punk serve you, you will end up with the wrong ones in the form of generic blades. This is the part number for the correct wiper REFILLS made by tridon and from MEMORY(dont quote me) will set you back around $30 or so. They are a rubber blade that is coated in graphite; not the horrible squeaky (but long lasting!) silicone variant which i think you would struggle to find in this style. I have had them on my aurion for bout 3 months and they work great.

Here we are guys, ive got the part numbers and prices of the Aurions wiper blade assy and rubber wipers.

LH Rubber Wiper - 85214-06120 $8.45

RH Rubber Wiper - 85214-06110 $8.45

RRP incl GST.

Gentlemen,

Thanks for your valuable posts, as an update for all,

Decided to treat myself to a new set of blades after 2.5 years, rang Toyota dealer here on the Sunshine Coast and was told "$16.80".....for the set I enquired..."no that's each so $33.60 for a set".

Couldn't be bothered explaining that their price is a 98% mark up on the RRP of Toyota.

Rang Super Cheap, "sure mate come down, we have them $15.48 for a set, and we can fit for an extra $3" To good not to enjoy, Tridon blades wipe beautifully, no noise at all.

Moral of the story...Toyota dealers don't seem to want to provide parts for people seeking value for their hard earned.

I have 1 service left on the fixed cost service plan and think its time to start shopping for an alternative mechanic who can look after my pride and joy.

dont replace the entire wiper, just replace the blade, simple and effective unless your entire wiper is screwed??
