Hi there... I've owned and driven Toyotas for ages... I've recently come back from OS where previously I had a SW20 MR2. I'm now keen on getting something bigger like the Supra...

Any tips/warning signs when on the look out for one?

Either on the NA or Turbo... any information from owners would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks heaps! :)

If you go for a turbo check that it is genuine (RZ model) and not a conversion, the conversion of a N/A supra to a turbo can be very dodgey...

Also if you find a Targa roof like on the Fast and the Furious also check that it came from the factory like that and wasn't just cut out to look cool!!! As a general rule of thumb... just make sure you get the car well checked over by a mechanic you trust who know what to look for...

the best thing to do is to buy something that is standed!!! not modified.. and then get a REV's report and a RACV (if your in melbourne) report, i think in sydney it's NRMA not sure about other states... it'll cost you about $200 for every thing but it's worth it...

check to make sure its not rusty, paint color and shade is the same, and that every thing sit's flush...

anything with the above has most likely been in a accident.. (as mine was)

engine wise, make sure theres no leaks or funny sounds.. most toyotas are pretty good here...

N/A or turbo... it's up to you... N/A is limited on power.. turbo is endless!!!! over 1000 hp at the wheels!!!!

and check out as many supra's as you can, and compere them...
