Has anyone on the forum installed the apex i V-AFC II on their sportivos?

if some one has or knows some one that has please let me know asap!

cause i dont wanna buy one and then i cant install it haha

hey mate,

dont waste ur time with this ..... vtec and vvtli mechanisms are totally different.

in all the reading ive done guys have not got this going on celicas in the US for years so i wouldnt even try.

Get urself a PFC if your after a tuning alternative.

power fc is too hardcore for a corolla and even that wouldn't make much difference would it?

Depends on the mods you already have and how good the tuner is.

its only got trd headers, catback exhaust, and trd cai...

just basic mods, i suppose if i got power fc id get cams n a few other mods

here are my thoughts ...... if u just get a piggy back i dont think ur gonna be happy with it ..... ull end up selling it and upgrading to an ecu later on down the track ..... so might as well call a spade a spade and do it once & right from the very beginning ...... thing is the instant u started modding ur car all bets were off for saying something is too hardcore ..... u gotta just use the right stuff for the application rather than going half a.s.s.e.d and not being happy with the end result

Didn't know you could get a Power FC for a corolla!.....

If you can, IMO, get one!! They are theb est when it comes to tuning. Som any things you can do just to squeeze that extra KW from the wheels.

I got an extra 20Kw at all fours on my subie when i got mine put in. Deffinately well worth the money!
