Second Hand Kappa for $480 worth it?

Hey Guys,

Was offered a set of Second Hand Kappa wheels for my ZRE for $480.

The wheels itself have little scuff marks here and there, so I was wondering if $480 was worth it?

Also it comes with a set of Tyres which have done 15000km.

17's? Fair price i say... thats only just over 100 bucks each with tires. Not bad :)

Yeah they are 17's.

Going to inspect it tomorrow, having said that, he also informed me that two of the wheels are a little corroded on the front edge of the spoke.

I was wondering if they are repairable, if so whats the best way?

Not too sure mate.

I was a set of Kappa which I was bidding for on eBay.

The initial buyer didn't go through with the purchase, so the seller is offering them to me for $480.

      1996 Trueno XZ - Is it worth modding?

      Depends on how common/rare they are in your part of the world. The XZ trim was the second-lowest so didn't come with most of the fun bits that the full-fruit BZG/V/R models did, so it's not anywhere near as desirable stock but sometimes you have to make do with what you can find, plus you shouldn't feel as guilty modding the heck out of it since most of it isn't special.

      VSC, Traction Control, Check Engine lights all on

      I attended Toyota Preston for Aurion ATX 2013 major service today. Cost $~$1300. On the way home I stopped to pick up dinner. Two fault lights: engine and VSC lights came on when I restarted the car. Car drove home just fine. I can only return the car tomorrow for them to sort out. Annoyed. Let’s see if they’re still on in the morning.

      Hi everyone, new member to the group and owner driver of a nifty little Toyota Sprinter Trueno XZ, now this was my cousins car, I bought it off him and after various drives, I have come to the decision that this needs alot of love. Now I am wondering if its worth putting my time and money into doing this certain make n model up or should I just buy a different car to do up? I am not very car-inclined so I really don't know a lot. Any opinions would be very helpful Thankful!

      1999 Camry Driver's door locking hatch issue

      It's possible that it could be something fouling or dirt build up, dry, or a broken mechanism, so have a look and give the mechanism some lubrication, most likely though, it'll be the actuator.       Query about the correct rotors for 2006 ACV40 Camry.

      Hi, I'm looking at a set of front rotors for an ACV40 2006, 2.4L Camry. I got a good price on some RDA's at Sparesbox. However both RDA8112 and RDA7686 show as for my car and I'm wondering what the difference is and if there were changes to the rotors during the model production. So does anyone know which rotor is the correct one? Many thanks in advance.
