Hi All,

I have just signed up and am seeking advice :) a bit like TRD3500S

I currently own a Black TRD Aurion 3500SL / Build No 606.

I was wondering if anyone can put me in the right direction for getting some mods done to my 3500SL. Had the car now for 18 months since new, and looking to get a bit more out it :)

Searched the net and cant really seem to find anything..

Any advice/recommendation would be much appreciated.

Cheers,

Steve from Melbourne :)

Welcome Steve :) nice choice of car. Damm starting to get a few TRD's on here now hay :P

for a full comprehensive lists of mods check out the FAQ section but just quickly the most common and usually first mods are wheels and tyres followed by suspension but you have the TRD so pass go and collect $200 lol your first mods should be a trip to the ultra racing website, check out the strut tower brace and anti-roll bar, that'll tighten the old girl up and having her turn in shaper and handling better :)

Welcome.

For specific TRD related mods, as you may be aware, there is a new topic right here on the first page of the Aurion forum titled:

TRD Aurion modification

If you look in there, the second reply says this... which is a valid statement and would answer your question:

i believe you're the first person to do anything more than the basic's on a trd aurion...

Otherwise, if you just want to do the usual Aurion stuff (the basics as SecaBoy said), there is a great deal of information on the boards here if you search. Namely exhaust, Ultra Racing, and springs/shocks/coilovers.

Try Bullet Cars

....

Damn. If only my office was still there in Yatala. I could have easily had some work done while I work with easy drop-off and pickup.

So I take it that you have good personal experience with these guys.

Bullet cars do amazing work.

Anyone that can make a v8 mx5 as a normal everyday car must know their sh!t. Lol

Never thought about seeing them for any work though. I wonder why I hadn't thought of them!

It's a shame that there aren't more mods readily available for the TRD's yet. I'd be interested. Still am in the Varex mufflers but it all looks like too hard work.

buy my varex setup for $400...

its a lot cheaper than doing it yourself through an exhaust shop... plus, if you've got a TRD, it'll be a complete bolt up cat back exhaust system... :D
