Graham the 2TG

Hey guys and girls,

Since I have been bringing this along to recent meets (while my other KE30 is being upgraded) I thought I'd better put some info and pics up for you all to look at.

Story:

I have been obsessed with this particular little car since I was old enough to walk. This car was owned by my old man's karting buddy for 20 or so years. To say this man was fussy is an understatement and it needs to be seen to be beleived. Anyway after sacrificing a nice KE55 hardtop and clean Commodore daily driver, "Graham" was in the garage. I bought it off the fellow who purchased it of my old man's friend. He owned it for about 1-2 years and fitted a 2TG and 5 speed from a TA22 gt celica. When I bought the car it was running but not very well. The old man and I had to start from scratch by fixing oil leaks, getting the carbies rebuilt (read expensive), tuning, complete cooling system overhaul (including brass core radiator), all suspension components from front to rear (nolathane everywhere), brake hoses, machine discs/drums and full bleed, new wheel bearings and seals, rebuilt starter and rebuilt alternator. More recently I fitted a new head gasket too.

Specs:

1974 KE30 2 Door Sedan

Midnight Blue

Retrimmed interior with KE70 seats

Momo race wheel and gearknob

Original rims widened to 6" and running Yokohama 'A-pattern' (old school yo!)

Standard springs and height with monroe sensatrac shocks all round and whiteline swaybar with nolathane bushes galore

2TG twin cam (yes it has a Yamaha designed head like so many Toyota hi-po fours)

Full extractors to mild system

Twin Webers

Electronic fuel pump

Catch can

Crane Cams electronic ignition

KE55 Brakes (slightly bigger)

That's about all I can name off the top of my head!

One pic for now and I'll upload some more later.

Some sad news :(

I am putting Graham on the market as I simply cannot afford to do up two rollas like I want to. This will give me the much needed funds to finish the gold beast off.

Really want to see Graham go to a good home and he will only be sold to someone deserving.

*EDIT*

Sold
