1ZZE22R Ascent ABS Brakes

Hello i was wondering my current corolla ascent doesnt have ABS fittited, but was a option at purchase. Since I wasnt the first owner of course they didnt get it fitted.

I was wondering is there any way of getting a ABS kit from somewhere and getting someone to fit the kit for me. I know its a big job as it works with the Cars computer and works of each wheels hub to know that if there is some sort of pull on one wheel or a hard stop to a wheel that it sends a signal to th compuiter letting the computer know to cut the ABS in.

Any help would be great.

best bet would be toyota dealer. its a safety feature and u would want them to do it (as with any other safety feature). gives u peace of mind. GL mate

It WAS an option, but by that if you wanted it you got a completely different car, the dealer did not fit it.

It is not like air-co where it can just be added to the car.

Easier and less headache, and cheaper, to buy a car that has ABS on it already.
