Hi everybody,

not sure if anybody else has come across this but every now and then when i take off and steer my horn emits a faint sound, almost like its going off and the battery is dead..this only goes off for about a second. Usually only happens at startup once I reverse and take off and once the car is moving you dont get this again.

Im no mechanic so any ideas would be helpful, as i mentioned it happens every now and again which is annoying and sometimes embarassing

Have your dealer check the spiral cable for open circuits. If there is a problem with the flexible ribbon, it could extend to your airbag circuit. If that did happen the airbag light on the dash would come on.
