Hey,

Just wondering why now i can barely hear the person talking on the other end of the mobile when i call overseas to Cambodia. Mainly what i hear is like its raining on a metal surface with a few unclear words every so often. Before i never had any problems calling overseas to Cambodia and could hear the person talking on the other end perfectly. I am using a Lebara sim card to call overseas but have tried changing different brand sim cards and calling with different mobile phones but still have the same problem. Also to note when i call a local number in Australia i have no problems hearing the other person on the other end of both a mobile phone and home phone.

Lebara = fail

and any calling card via the home phone = fail

there are great plans on the mobile that let you ring overseas directly. why don't u sign on to one of those?

I wouldn't be surprised if this all came down to cheap VOIP infrastructure utilised by Lebara to enable their international calls. Use crap hardware, you get crap results.
