Hey Guys,

I recently purchased a set of 17 inch rims for my Toyota corolla and I'm having trouble putting them on. When I put them on the wheel will not slide in. Does anyone know why this is and how can I fix it?

Thanks

Sounds like you got the wrong Stud pattern wheels.

Most Corollas on there are either 4x100 or 5x114.3. ( From memory)

You might be able to get spacers but dont take my word..

spacers is probably the go man, might just take it into the local tyre place and get them to fit them...... thanks

Did you already have aftermarket rims on yours? Maybe you still have plastic or metal hub rings on it..

What brand wheels? maybe the centre hole is too small

+1 @ john.

I had plastic/metal hub rings for aftermarket rims to go on my 08' ZRE. And when i put my stock wheels back on, forgot to take them off.. almost resulting in a game over for me while on the road. Check if you need hub rings for the rim to sit on. And remember to take them off if you put your stockies back on.

Hey Guys,

I spent a couple of hours on the Internet and then decided to give it another crack, the after market rims I had fitted had spacers, and knowing me being in a rush I didn't notice that the spacers were the same colour as the hub :S. Anyway they are on and for 400 dollars it's made an awesome improvement to my car. I will upload pics soon.

Also I have a set of rodent Jane wheels and tyres with decent tread they're only 15's and are in near new condition.
