Hello everyone and thanks for your time,we have this automatic rear sunshade that goes up and down by a button on the dash. but the annoying thing is that every time I shift in reverse it rolls down. even though there is no need to as we can see through the shade very easily.

I was just wondering if there was a way to disable this annoying feature, as I prefer the rear curtains to be up all the time, not to retract when I put the gear in reverse.

Thanking you all in advance.

Disconnect the shade wiring under the parcel shelf so it stays up all the time, that'll fix the problem when you shift into reverse...

Although, if it starts to rain or if you're trying to reverse at night, I imagine it would be a pain in the butt...

Thank you Ben for your suggestion, but I would like to have it connected when I need to roll it down.

I was wondering if someone would know which plug to disconnect from the shifting console?
