I hit a pole when I was doing the street side reverse parking.

The left tail light housing is broken. So I have to purchase a new light.

Does anyone know where I can get a second-hand one as a new one costs 500AUD?(I live in Melbourne)

The mechanic told me that rear bumper will be repaired instead of being replaced.

The last problem is that the boot seems doesn't match the car perfectly because the gap looks a little bit bigger than before

I'm looking for a cheaper way to fix them. All suggestions are welcome!

Thanks you and I think it helps but there's one question.

Mine is SX6, does it have the same taillight as normal Aurion(At-X, prodigy,presara)

because on that ebay page indicates that

Will not suit Sportivo or TRD models.

Sx6 has same headlight as a atx/prodigy

Not exactly. The Sportivo and TRD have a darker shade of red (which I suspect is inside tiniting of the chrome... thanks Steven) for the tailights and the headlights have a tinted chrome internal. This makes them both appear darker. So you will in fact have mismatched lights if you don't change all of them if going between grades.

In terms of the OP's question, the physical size and dimensions are the same though.

Edit: I happen to have a left side tail light for a pre-facelift Sportivo BTW. It means a bit to me however, but I guess I may be able to part with it.

how could you know such a detail? amazing...

So if I buy a AT-X tail light for my SX6. People can notice the difference and will think it's weird?

When I find the right supplier, I would let you know.

Currently, I can't find who sells the sportivo tail light in China.

If anyone is willing, I have a 2nd hand left side tail light that I will part with for $100 plus shipping. No right side sorry, in case you ask.

If you were to ask me though, getting the hybrid tail lights would be a smart move.

It's good enough to see hybrid lights on silver. I wonder how it'll look on a silver TRD? :rolleyes: . We knew how sick it is on a black TRD. Just some1 we know didn't appreciate it that much and decided to swap to Ford. Oppps.. Went too far. :whistling::lol:

Personally though, if I was to put those new style lights on, I would rather get the full clear tail lights instead of the hybrid. They look so much better again.

True, each to their own. I kinda like it too, but It's good to see something difference for a change. :lol:

Come to think of it, you just gave me an idea.. I'll see if it works out real good. :D

Never knew the Sportivo/TRD rear tail lights had a darker shade of red till you pointed it out..i actually took 2 pictures and compared to check..point noted :)

These hybrid tail lights are from the rstyleracing site yes? They will actually fit the 08 sportivo? It says 07-09 i guess but just checking to make sure because they do look like the new design which doesnt fit the 08...

Yes from R Style, and facelift lights will fit on the pre-facelift and vice-versa, so you don't have to worry about fitting issues.

      ASV50 Camry Head Unit Options

      I have a 2014 Atara SL with the JBL Navigation head unit, it's getting a bit long in the tooth and I'd like to add Android Auto so I'm curious about what other owners have done. I don't want to lose the reverse camera and the dynamic guidelines, there are also some other car functions as part of it that would be good to keep. I have seen plug in modules that wire in that add the functionality to the existing unit so it's possible to keep it and switch between stock and android but I haven't seen a specific one for this model JBL unit. Has anyone had success with a later model Toyota unit bolting in?

      1zz-fe engine rebuild

      Hello all, Working on my 2002 corolla. It needs a engine rebuild due to burning oil out the back. It has over 400,000 km on it and I havent looked after it. Everything is still original on the motor. The only thing that I have replaced, was the brushes on the alternator. They were completely worn out. I am pulling the motor/gearbox out of the car. Wont know the condition of the block or head until I strip it down. I know the design of the piston where changed in the 2003+ models for more oil holes, which stopped the buring of oil. 1. Was there any other changes made ? 2. Does anyone know of where I can get a engine rebuild kit for 1zz-fe motor in australia ? 3.       2007 Corolla Sedan rear seatbelt question

      Hi everyone, new member here. I've got a small problem which I'm hoping you can help me sort out. I've read the "read me first" thread and done a forum search so apologies if this ends up being a repost. Ok, so I've just has a bloody mouse chew through the rear seat and half (but only half) of every rear seatbelt. Which is nice. So I need to replace them. The problem I appear to have is that none of the local breakers have any suitable vehicles that I can pull them from and the ones I ordered and was sent from the bay of fleas has the wrong brackets on, despite being allegedly for that vehicle. Further searches come up with every seller showing the wrong bracket, so either I've got a special car which is different just because, or (more likely) they don't know their ****s from their elbows what they're selling. I'm after some aftermarket ones as they never get used and just need to be there to get through rego so don't really want to spend a heap of cash I don't have on genuine parts if I can avoid it. I've replaced the centre one (a mate just randomly had it in a box in his shed, which was handy) but still need the left and right. I've attached the bracket type I pulled from the car and need. Is this a standard generic Toyota seatbelt or specific to the 2007 Corolla sedan? Does is need to be specifically for the rear left and right or do front ones fit? Does anyone know where I can source an aftermarket pair? I will really, really appreciate any help offered with this, I know my way around a box of tools but very little about mechanikicing (which is part of the reason why I bought this car - something simple to learn on as repairs/replacements become due) and this is a simple fix which is turning into a drawn out headache.       Hi all, Wondering if anyone has had this issue. I recently purchased a 2007 200 series landcruiser, and the amplifier for the air con unit stopped working. Part number 88650-60D60. (Looks like a circuit board) All controls for the air con now do not work, very frustrating in winter when you dont have any way to unfog your windscreen. Toyota have informed me that they no longer produce this part, and there is nothing superseeded to fit in it's place. My question is has anyone had this problem? If so what did you do to fix it? I have got onto an auto sparky who has had a go at fixing the circuit board but its unserviceable. Any feedback would be much appreciated.
