Toyota Aurion 2007 ATX

Hey guys purchased a Toyota Aurion with alot of k's but cheap 10k but with high k's 170,000 k's, its very good condition considering how many k's and 4 years old, its very good to drive and smooth nothing else wrong.

i serviced like 3 weeks ago and cars seems alot smoother and fuel efficient getting almost 600 k's before fuel light comes on with v power and i added injector cleaners. before the service and injector cleaners i got almost to 500 then light would come on

q's - how many k's do most of you guys get a full tank???? with good petrol and cheap petrol.

what can i do to get better fuel consumption?

anyone know how i can get fuel injectors cleaned where and how much and should i?

is it worth changing my fuel filter?

if my car done that much k's what should i look out for?

I usually get 660km with my normal work run before I have to fill - at an average of around 9L/100km, with 98RON BP Ultimate.

Best range has been 830km (from 69.2L in a 70L tank!) and best economy has been 7.3L/100km - both on separate highway runs.

Anyway, have a search for the fuel economy topic on this forum.

Don't use too much injector cleaner, as some have been known to make your spray pattern worse. You shouldn't need to use more unless your engine has rough idle or difficulty starting.

As for the fuel filter, check your warranty and service book for the standard service interval and when it was last serviced as such - it was due for the first change at 150,000km. If this was done it is good to 300,000km (if you can manage that).

I get 550km before my fuel light pops up. This is in the city. As for fuel injector cleaner i think it's best not to use it and previous experience with it is quite poor. V-power already has cleaning agents in it so that should help with the fuel injectors. Floor your car a few times and you will notice a big difference.
