Though i no longer have a Sportivo, I still pilferred this area of the forum like crazy to prepare for the "2011 Course D Elegance" held by the QLD WRX Club on Saturday just gone - my car is a 09 WRX, and this is what the chief judge had to say:

First place went to an 09WRX with 35500kms, second prize to a 10 WRX with 3500 kms.

Both cars were presented in a beautiful condition and better than you would expect than when you pick up a new car from a dealer - normally cleaned and washed etc, but sill with some gunk on them.

These two leading cars were absolutely spotless.

They were separated by .5 of a point and that came down to the respective ages and the amount of kms travelled.

Thanks TOCAU contributors - to explain, the points were mostly like a usual show n shine, but points were added the older the car, and points were deducted for cars that didn't do sufficient kilometres, the idea is to promote clean cars that people actually drive
