From memory 5Y is a facelift, while 92 is pre facelift.

93+ is pre facelift, I own a 93 and its a pre facelift model.

So anything above that.

But yeah, no difference really, just looks different.. I prefer the facelift models really

"A) The true facelift came out mid-way through 2005 (August). The 5Y refers to the later models, while the 92 was earlier 2005 model."

I understood the facelift between 03 and 05, and also the 92 and 5Y.

But I am still unclear why did Toyota categorised 92 and 5Y for the 2005 model, as there are no differences in features.
