I just fitted a LED light to my compartment tray and just wanted to show you guys how I did it.

You will need to remove center control panel first to gain access to the wiring behind the panel.

Basically I used the cigarette tray light wires to power my compartment light.

The green wire is positive and the white wire is negative.

Here I used T-tap connectors to tap the wiring, you could use any other connectors.

You could use the led strips but I prefer the dome led which produces brighter lights.

I could install a door switch when the compartment is open, the light will only on but I can't be bothered to do that because the LED is not going to draw heaps of powers.
