Hi All,

I am in the process of bolting in a supercharger to my UK Toyota corolla, the mechanical work is just about done. You can see my thread here

here's a quick pic

I have hit a bit of a stumbling block with wiring in my apexi power FC. Because the Apexi is designed for a Celica I would have to do a parallel install but I am a bit unsure as to what I can share and what I can't so I'm hoping someone can assist? I've listed the pins below and "share", "apexi" and "stock"

Injectors - Apexi

Igniter Fire Signals - Apexi

Air Pump - Stock

Idle Control Valve - Stock

Grounds - Share

VVTI Valve - Apexi

Knock Sensor - Apexi

MAF signal wire - Share

+5V to MAF - Apexi

O2 heater circuit ground - Apexi

Stability Control Wires - Stock

Throttle Position Sensor signal - Share

+5V to Throttle Position Sensor - Apexi

Air Temp Signal - Share

Crank Sensor - Share

Cam Sensor - Share

Crank and Cam Sensor Ground - Share

Stop Light Switch Share

Airbag - Stock

12v Starter Signal - Share

Electric Power steering - Stock

Control Ground for the Main Relay - not really sure on this one?? Stock or Share?

Speed Signal - Share

Tach - Stock

Batt (Power from EFI Relay) - Share

Fuel Cut Circuit Relay - Stock

Any help gratefully received! Otherwise I'll go down the trial and error route.

Thanks

NRG

hey man, been following your thread on 9th gen,

love the custom bracket you created for that rotrex :D simply brilliant :D

Also, hit up user Superdave, he has successfully created P-FC wiring harnesses to work everything in the 2zz/ t-sport.

there's no need to run parallel ECU's. Run the powerfc with the appropriate wires repinned to the celica position on a fields harness.

You will run into issues sharing sensors that use internal pullup resistors in the ECU etc.

Unfortunately the EU corolla has some features that the AUS Corolla does not have, like Traction control and stability control. Also I can get the car to fire up on the PFC but the aircon does not work :( Hence the reason for my asking

Thanks for the feedback! I will try him and see how I get on.

do you think your traction control and stability control will work with the PFC controlling fuel and ignition??

That's awesome, nice work!

No they won't, the PFC will carry on regardless. I just want it primarily to be able to get the aircon to work.
