Head unit replacement

Im thinking of installig a in car dvd player/headunit these are te dimensions would it be able to fit in where the stock stereo is i dont know the in depth dimensions of it at the moment, this is the dvd player 185mm length 170mm width 50mm height

Brendon, I just joined here, any luck? What brand is the unit - I just fitted an Alpine in my Gen7 with a half height pocket under. If this helps,let me know - if anyone else is trying to fit an Alpiner, I can help with the wiring config.

My gen7 has an alpine stereo and the previous lady owner lost the owners manual.Just google the model number and a copy can be downloaded 70a4 pages.

Check that the power wire under the back seat has been insulated properly.

Mine was not and nearly set the car on fire when the back seat was folded down.
