Hey guys, i purchased the injen intake CAI for my sportivo. Just wandering if anyone has ever had any problems with water entering the intake? should i be worried? the filter is behind the front bumper so it could easily come into contact with water???

Yes they are a problem be careful

You will be up for new rods, or a new motor if you suck up water, believe me 100% because I've seen it happen, not just with my own sportivo, but many other cars with aftermarket intakes.

Just be careful

Go for it

Stay away from big puddles or go slowly through puddles.. And if you let someone borrow your car in the rain, tell em to be careful with water, trust me :(

buy an injen hydroshield this helps reduce the chance of sucking in water
