I tried to put new 6x9s in my doors as a little side project to my current audio overhaul, I can tell you they are anything but a quick job, unless you got slim line 6x9s you will need a 1inch spacer, but the mounting diameter is larger than your average spacer, when I get back home in a couple of days I'll upload some pics, but it isn't a five minute job

Get 6 x 9 speakers for both front door speakers and rear speakers,

they fit perfect ( generally ) depending on the speaker brand you get.

I got JL Audio C2 6 x 9 for both front and rear and they have a huge magnet.

I was worried if the speaker magnet might interfere with the Automatic windows shutter but there was no problem after the final installation.

BUT The oversize magnet interfere with the boot closing mechanism. ( at least in my car )

If you check the magnet size of the stock speaker it is a joke comparing to the size of Branded 6 x 9 's on the market.

I did my upgrade in July 2010 and the mechanism bar touched the underpart of the magnet every time the boot is opened / closed.

I got lucky since the JL's have a stell encapsulation over the magnet which prevents the magnet from getting damaged.

If im you I might get a measuring tape and get to work of the existing gap between the mechanism and the stock speaker and the WOULD be gap of the new speakers !!

Hope this helps
