That kind of behaviour is only for Mc Donalds car parks. I am planning to install most of the crap i have piled up in my study over the school holidays. The car should handle like a bull in water after it and maybe a little more response and a tiny bit of powahhhh

Well here is the things i have been doing to the car

Well i might as well give a little up date on what has been going on with the car. Decided to finally install the polyurethane bushes i had laying around for almost 2.5 years and put on all the other parts i had laying around also which included a wheel bearing and hard sway bar links, dump pipe.

Well lets say that to take off the control arms that look like they have never been removed at all in 22 years was a bit of a bitch. Took off one nut and then gave up as it was too hard without a rattle gun. So went to take off the dump pipe and come up against the rounded nut on the front pipe that made me quit last time and put it all back together as it was a bitch. Well i hwill try again this time lol Well, that nut is still rounded and on the car hahah, it is made from adamantium i think, it is just soooo hard and in such a bad spot to access. So gave up for that day after installing a OMP Steering wheel a friend gave in in exchange for man love........... Its a fake though lol, but he told me he loved me!!!!!! I feel robbed.

Second day had rattle gun

Well this particular rattle gun decided it was not strong enough to remove the nuts on its own, so i had to go to every single nut to try and crack it then use the gun which worked out. Till we could not remove the arm as we did not know we had to remove the cross engine brace, more swearing later they were all off, and found the sway bar links were like jelly but had hard core replacements anyway. The bushes were stuffed and one was even not sitting right in the control arm, slightly distorted and stuff. Also found that my front right drive shaft boot was ripped wide open after looking at all this grease on the side of the engine. So tried to take off the split pin in the him thingy to start taking it out and realised it was also 22 years old and rusted on...RAGGEEEEE... so that is stil on the car.

Then saw my cusco underarm brace has indeed hit the ground and has some large scrapes out of it and was covered in coolant front eh HFH that i was going to change with the dump pipe. That was the end of day two as had to help a friend with his newly aquitred corolla with 4AGE goodness and also incredible stink that gave me a rash on my hands (seriously)

Dropped off control arms at South Melbourne pedders and was pleased with their help and good pricing that most pedders are not know for, would highly recommend them to anyone and they have a drift car and mad series 5 RX7.

My main question is the new sway bar links i have put on. They do not sit completly flush against the sway bar on either side of the mounting holes with the picture shown being the best fit. Does it matter if the top bolt and washer is not completly flush agaist the sway bar and the bolt a little crooked? As i do not think it should sit like that but might be due to my car being a lot lower than usual Any help?????

I also managed to drop the control arm onto my index finger jamming it onto the jack.. I literally thought it broke instantly but is just really badly bruised. Also need to take off the control arms because i need to put the cross engine brace on first. GRRRRR

Didnt we remove it in this order?

1. sway end links

2. ball joint bolt things

3. cusco brace

4. stock brace thing

5. control arms

isnt it logical to do the same in reverse order? I think that brace was stopping us from taking them off, so i dont think youll be able to get it back on again if you put it on first...
