hi i would like to know if 18 x 8 +50 rims would fit on an 08 auris? any help is appreciated. thanks.

Hi Martin,

I would advise not. The wheels might not clear the brakes and you probably will have scrubbing. Perfect offset for 8" wide rims (and sit more flush) would be +35 to +38. :)

Might be cutting it fine with the brakes but the new TRD rims are 18 x 7.5 +51

Really? That's interesting.. I thought they would scrub. I guess I'm wrong then John :)

I was thinking the same Peter, compared to a 18" Kappa the TRD rim has 6mm less inner clearance, unless the TRD site is incorrect... Does seem odd though, Hondas are between +50 and +60 for stock rims, Toyota normally floats around +40 - +45

i was thinking of oem rx8 rims that's why i was asking. anyone tried them so i can have a better idea if they fit and if anyone had any issues with scrubbing?
