Hey, ive lost my current celica due to an accident (old lady pulled out in frontof me whilst i was on a roundabout) :(

and was looking for a new one i had a 1990 Celica SX with $$$ lots spent on it, (water pump, high pressure pwr steering hose, new timing belt and timing gear, reco pwr steering pump, wheel bearings, reco gearbox, custom intake, g4 coilovers)

and ive come across a 97 model i dont know much about the 6th gens but the better engine would the coil overs swap straight in or not? what im asking is do they have the same bolt patterns for suspension?

any help would be great.. :)

hey, sorry I do not know the answer, however if for some unfortunate reason they do not fit I would be willing purchase these coilovers for my 5th gen from you

good chance they will fit, the rears definitely will (had 6th gen coils in the rear of my 5th gen).

I am 90% sure the fronts will fit too.

Its_Jay, did they fit in the end? i know this thread hasnt been active for 8 years, however i have a 2wd 6th gen and all 6th gen coilovers are at least a grand, the 5th gen ones are considerably cheaper and if a simple yes or no was replied then you'd be saving me hundreds of pounds.

if anybody knows the answer please help, it would be much appreciated

cheers guys!
