Hi,

My Kluger Grande 2008 power back door have stopped functioning. It doesn't work anymore with my remote control, the switch at the driver's seat and also at the back door is not working as well. Would appreciate if anyone can share their experience or can give me advice on what to do.

Thanks,

Romeo

I have a 2010 Grande and so far no issue to date with rear automatic door. I do not have an answer other than contact your Toyota dealer for an advise. Cheers!

Have you checked if the switch inside the glovebox has been unpressed by accident? This disables the power feature on the liftgate.

Toyota 2008

Rear back tail door is not closing. Goes down but stays open about 20cm and then goes back up but not fully up and then down again and just stays open a good 20cm!!! No it's not the button in the glovebox and nothing is in the way..

Would need to go back to Toyota for a "reset"

From memory they have a procedure to follow to reset the motor "knowing/learning" the travel distance from shut/open/shut

same as the reset procedure for fully automatic windows

Have you taken back to Toyota?

Cheers

edit to add: it could also be a motor failure....
