Audio upgrade in my Prodigy

Hi all,

Just wanted to add some pics of the upgrade I have just finished in my Aurion. Replaced the Head Unit with a Pioneer 2 din unit and replaced the 6 x 9's in the front and rear. I left the stock tweeters in the dash. The thing that I have done differently is to reuse the factory speaker as mounts for the new ones. I cut out the old cone, magnets and baskets and then mounted the new speakers through the top of the plastic sorround/spacer. I used speaker gasket foam between the speaker and the spacer and between the spacer and door/parcel shelf. It worked out really well.

I also put in a Vifa dual voice coil sub and an Ultimate 4 channel amp in dual bridged mode running the sub.

Sounds great, very clear and punchy at all levels.

Nice setup there. Personally i would of preferred a component speaker for the front ones but personal preference.
