Hi guys just a quick post before I head off for dinner lol

Got my new aurion sx6 4 weeks ago and here's a little review

Steering on the new aurion is much more predictable than the 07 prodigy I had but cornering performance is actually no better than the prodigy with UR front and rear bracings. I actually find the prodigy with UR bracings a lot easier to push around corners. The new sx6 is also quite firm on rough roads and can be a bit jiggly.

Acceleration is insane on this car. It's noticeable quicker than my old prodigy from any speed to any speed. I actually had a couple near misses accelerating out of corners.

Transmission is not smooth! You can feel the gear changes and they are kinda rough especially under normal acceleration. Under hard acceleration the gear changes are hardly noticeable. This is very different from the new 12 touring I test drove. Maybe sportivo has quicker changes?

Paddle shifters are quick with minimum delay unless I tried to do stupid things lol

Now the small issues:

The car started squeaking when going over bumps not long after I got it. I took to my dealer and the foreman said its the door rubber seal against the frame. He silicone sprayed the seals and things got worse. I then tried driving with windows down and no more sound! I duplicated the noise by half opening the window and pushing the window. I will have to have the dealer look at the issue again bit later. Just FYI my old prodigy did the same thing not long ago but that's after 150000kms on rough country roads!

Then there's the ever so great wheel alignment issues. I swear my car drives nowhere near as straight as the first day I got it, 4 weeks ago. And I've never taken it off the bitumen or done any wheel spins. Well I had to align my old prodigy every 10000kms so.....

Engine noise is far from unnoticeable quoted by a few journalists but much quieter than my old prodigy and better sounding at higher revs.

The interior of the car is nice but quality issues are everywhere. My seat had some free play yesterday and disappeared today. The silver paint on rear inside arm rest came off in two areas. Driver side grab handle makes some clicking noise sometimes. Fixed by giving it a gentle tab lol.

Good review :) Been waiting for a real world review on these. Have you warmed up to the questionable exterior styling as compared to your Prodigy, yet? Namely that rear bar...

Thanks guys for the welcome

Josh, I found the car ugly when I bought it. I tended not to look at it lol. Now that it's been a month and after seeing couple police sx6 on the road I actually quite like the way this car looks
