Still covered in heavy disguise, but I can make out the large front grille and RAV4.4-inspired taillight shape. Also, there are rumors that the Aussie-spec Kluger might be sourced from the USA.

Btw, Model Year 2014 debut= Mid or end-2013 in Calendar Year.

And here's a teaser showing the RH headlight & part of the grille from Toyota USA. Will make its debut at the New York International Auto Show next week!

I love it, toyota is on a winner with this, the interior is heaps better looking and the leather looks 10 times better than what mine looks,I would buy the new model in a heart beat.

Cnt wait to see one in the flesh.

Some news for the Australian market:

-No more Japanese production.

-Both RHD Aus/NZ & LHD Eastern European export models will be sourced from the US for the first time (Excludes China, where it will be assembled locally as per current model.).

-Will be sold as a 7 instead of an 8 seater (Something to do with ADR compliance issues.).

-V6 only (2.7 4cyl out for Australia.), no hybrid (Probably something to do with it engineered for LHD only, like the previous model.).

-Unique suspension tuning for Australian-spec cars.

-RHD production to begin at the fourth quarter of this year, leading to a February intro for Australia.

I just hope that Toyota equips the Grande model with HID headlights this time. Would be really odd if they don't, as the top-spec Corolla, Aurion & RAV4 come with them standard.

What a pity no 8 seater model (seriously how can little old OZ possibly have compliance issues that stop it selling here when it is deemed ok for US sale??? Typical ridiculous pen pusher government fools strike again it seems) and no hybrid.

Think both of these would have been big selling points over the competition, especially as fuel consumption becomes more and more important. Don't get me wrong the current 3.5l's fuel consumption for a 2 tonne suv is not bad, but will only slight improvements cut it from 2014 onwards....????

Can't say I like it - yet.

The front and side look American (which it is)

The rear looks Korean (which it isn't)

The shark's fin on top looks BMW.

The interior looks good.

I'm biased towards Japanese manufacture, and will need convincing that US manufacture will be just as good.

Hi All,

Virgin post - be gentle.

I can't wait to receive my ordered MY14 Kluger in Silver Pearl and hope to receive it over the next few weeks.

I'm amazed though of the lack of information from Toyota Australia salesmen. We seem to know more than they do. Hmmm.... :g:

I wonder if this version has a different steering set up? , or is it still carying the inheriated fault of the previous models?.
