Installing K Sport Pro Coilovers

Recommended Posts

So I'm looking to buy these on eBay and fit them to my camry but I'm still a little uneasy when it comes to installing them. Does anyone have a tutorial? All I've found are some threads about before and after photos and which coiovers are available/the best but can't find anything about installing.

Help?

Pretty much identical to a standard strut/spring replacement, aside from adjusting height and dampers.

Uhhhh.....still don't know how to do it though.

Workshop manual, best $50 you will spend.

I can't help RE: installing but I have to say, EXCELLENT choice on coilovers.

K-Sport make some of the best stuff around. Period.

Hahaha thanks :) It's either them or Megan coilovers.

Will do. So I can just pop by to my local auto shop and they'll have some right?

Should do.

Lol... not sure if srs.

Megan racing and Ksport are at the lower end of the market. Some would say rubbish

Really? I'm confused now :S

remember to go and get a wheel alignment once they are fitted.

Yep I know that :) But thanks for the reminder

Should do.

Great. Will grab one when I get my coilovers

yeah, ksport is sh*t house, but does the job,

rather go d2 or bc for coils,

do you have a gen 5/6 ?

I have a gen6. So how bad is it? And how so? Just curious because people said ebay lowering springs for my old car were bad, but they were actually pretty good. Could even use them on track with no problems whatsoever. Also may I ask why you recommend those coils?

As far as I know, D2 megan ksport, all these cheap ***** coilovers come from the same factory in taiwan or some ****.

Get something half decent like Tein SS, Buddyclub N+, Cusco Zeros etc

A compromise would be BC coilovers, which many use without any problems but tbh are still junk in terms of handling

D2/BC are bottom end. Might even be that CCS that comes out of the same factory, with minor differences in tolerances and painting/anodising at the end.

Koni, Bilstein, Tein, Cusco.
