What is this and what is it's job

Hi

does anybody knows what is this round part under the red circle next to the air intake ?

I realized In my car the pipe is unattached from that thing and the plug, is broken.

Is it a vital part inengine or not? and can I drive my car for a couple of days before I fix that part?

and finally, anybody knows how-much its going to cost me to get that fix?

Its a 2010 Auriun ATX

Looks to me like the charcoal canister, basically pollution control crap.

If it's hanging loose you'd probably have a vacuum leak. If it were me I'd buy a cheap vacuum tube joiner and connect it directly to the other tube coming out of the canister (should be another one near the bottom of it) as a temp fix. No idea on replacement cost however should be cheap from a wrecker

I thought that was the actuator for the flap in the intake on an aurion... from memory the vacuum line gets plugged if you are running an aftermarket intake.

Ah yes you're right, didn't even see it attached to the intake piping there
