When I have time, im going back to NT performance to talk to Simon, see what can be done, if he can come up with a reasonable price and offer reliability it might be worth doing, instead of pissfarting around with bolt ons.

If youre gona spend do it big......if its reasonable yeah why not....by the time you muck around with exhaust, cai, etc etc you end up spending a heap anyway...im pretty sure a turbo project would be around the 5 grand mark.

But im just stirring :), and the reason why i wont get a ces exhaust is simple, on its own its not value for money, very minimal gains for alot of cash :) , and no i dont want to start trouble, its just what i believe.

Whilst you're there speak to him regarding a custom cai group buy.

Remember he stated he couldn't believe the prices of the Injen/AEM/TRD CAI's and was confident they could manufacture something better for ALOT cheaper...

5K will not cut it, you may want to add in few 1000 for new pistons as well cause a 11.5:1 compression ratio wont be turbo friendly

NA tuning is a bit like that really. u dun really see much with one mod. it all has to "synergise" (Danz da ghetto pimpa, au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums, 2005) as a complete package to work well. but i'm sure u know that. some ppl have different expectations from mods i suppose.
