Just letting you know I have ordered a manual for my car which will enable the Haltech dealer to wire my car up. I hope to get it done in the next few weeks and will let you know the performance (from Dyno and on the road) and the fuel consumption :P

Interceptor I was recommended. Hope to have a curve for 98 RON and one for 91 RON. Also adjust the VVTI a little. Do you know anything about it?

Just got a Haynes service manual for the car.

Where did you order your manual from? On the Haynes website, they don't have manuals for Gen 5 Camrys.

It looks like A greedy E chip, he is going to work out the wiring tomorrow. Once that is done it gets a tune soon after. :)

i want to get a manual for my Gen5 aswell soon, i had one for my Gen3 and it was VERY useful :)

although, i wouldnt buy a Haynes manual...

id wait until Gregorys release one...

because Gregorys uses the Australian Camry as the basis of their book.

whilst Haynes is made in the US, and thus has US Camry stuff....

the two Camrys are actually quite different, other than looks.

for example: they have slightly different suspension and brake setups to us here.

Its going to be a greedy e now. He is finding the wires bit by bit as the ECU is not covered in enough detail in the book.

ok latest is ....he is searching for headers for it and making a CAI (cold air intake) (easy 10hp at the wheels he recons instantly) and then he is going to tune it 20hp at the wheel minimum he says. But he is a Mitsubishi fan so I am thinking 25hp ;)

my friend asked a shop for bigger headers n CAI, they quoted $1400 for it. and it will give about 20hp or even more.... (im not sure)

Yeah I know the place the owner has a turbo charged magna just lives around the corner from me, its great that they are helping you as they usually only deal with mitsubishi lets us know how it goes
