on another note just took over the taillights to Lukes so he can work his magic :), finishing of the last installment of the taillights saga

So the last installment of the tails are completed, thanks Luke for working his magic, i am running all leds across the back end now.. as you can see via the pics he has added 2 rows of CREE amber leds for the blinkers and a block of CREE whites for the reverse, very bright output and very happy with the outcome.

Got some bad news about the rear wheels i ordered, st george rang me and said that they are discontinued which sux, they won't me making them anymore.. so i guess it gives me an excuse to look around for a new set of shoes, but i want an extra deep staggered look :)

So i went past my mates @ the wheel shop today and basically ill be getting some new shoes, ill be going even bigger this time, rollin on 20's and ill be going as wide as i possibly can on the rears, if anyone has any wheels they think would appeal to me let me know, i want to get a real deep dish thinking over 4+" deep lip on the rears ofc and as deep as they come on the rears, i could go super crazy if i chuck some coils on this and i could put 22s, yes it can be done, but 20's will look fat, i am running 19's at the moment.. so i am looking for something with a crazy deep dish and least spokes the better, 4-5 like my xxrs.. ill be getting the same satin/white custom paint job on them too.

So if i end up getting some new shoes ill probably be getting rid of these if anyone's interested - Jim

quick update, been doing some work in the trunk with the camo fabric i
bought ill post some piccy's sometime today, also trying to do something
with the heatproof shield thing that sits underneath the bonnet..



on another note i found one set of wheels i like so far

keep in mind whatever wheels i buy i will be getting sprayed the same as
my previous ones, ( Black inside, white dish / lip ), i love that look

Some quick pics of how the back end looks now with the camo fabric and also added the figurine, on the front end i printed out some big letters and cut them out and sprayed them on with some heatproof paint of that cover under the hood, it actually ended up pretty good, most of the lines didn't run at all, so with that said i still need to finalize the engine bay lighting and that should be enough

cheers mate, it seems to tie the back end in really nicely,.. next thing on the to do list is the hydro-dipping of some of the interior pieces and some new sexy bigger shoes for the beast :)

some pics from today, also pulled out all the interior pieces to get
hydrodipped, that will be done within the next couple of weeks, have to
order in the pattern,also ordered the grillcraft grill for the bottom,
as i no longer use my foggies due to the custom drls i got made this
will def give it a fatter meaner face, i am also on the lookout for
some new shoes, also custom modded the 2 little rear bar lights down the
bottom, they work as a reds / brake and also work as a amber indicator
too ( half cuts ) to go with the rest of my theme.

So i knocked over the grill mod i wanted to do for a while, i installed the grillcraft grill for the rukus, i didn't want the foggies on there anymore since i got my custom side vent drls/sequential indicators, along with the drl strips up the top thats more than enough, i left it black this time to give it contrast and i also sprayed the honeycomb grill black, seems to tie in the front end nicely now and i am quite happy with the results, seems to give a more meaner streamline look to it now, as for the interior pieces i am getting hydrodipped i am still waiting for the pattern to be sent over to the dipper, also working on getting some engine bay lighting done, other than that thats it for now, i also have my wheels picked out but they are not available yet, i might keep this one a secret :) some quick piccys from today

Definitely improves the look man, if the box ever had one flaw it was that grill. IMO

Thanks boys, i really agree with the reply Drew the fogs were spoiling the front end and now its given it a balanced look along with the aggressiveness i wanted, theres a wait on the hydrodip as the guy had to order the patern from china and because of chinese new year they are closed till monday so yea, should be here late next week, early week after next and then he said 3-4 days from once he gets it, cant wait man my car looks so naked inside.. Everythin hanging outn **** lol

Hey guys, haven't been posting in a while been busy with work and life
commitments lol, as far as the rukus goes i got the hydrodipped interior
pieces back over the weekend and they are installed now, it really
gives it a classy look to the inside and ties everything in together, i
went with the marble pattern, white base coat with a light black marble
lines through it, it really matches the interior and everything else
very nicely and the pure white just makes it all " Pop " so to speak,
and the other mod was changing the lug nuts today, i got my spike on ;),
heres some piccys.. enjoy..!

That white marble look isnt something ive seen before and as you say really pops. Very impressive look.

The spike lugs remind me of grease the movie.
