i am seriously thinking about getting a Sportivo Muffler for my Camry...

however im a bit paranoid about ending up with something loud ...

i want something noticable that there is a muffler, but not something that makes people start looking at you while you drive down the street normally

so any input would be good ;)

i know the Corollas had an option for a Sportivo Sports Muffler too...so i guess it will be similar to the one for the Camry...

Hey Terry...

If the Sportivo option muffler for the Camry is anything like the Sportivo option muffler for the Corolla, then it shouldn't be too loud.

I only ever heard the Sportivo option muffler on a Corolla once and it was on a Levin at the dealership and it was taking off up the street. The dude was giving it abit but it wasn't too loud.

Cheers

A family friend of mine has a sportivo muffler on his 04 sportivo camry. There's a different note, more deep... but as for noise level, its only a tad more loud. Probably 10% more louder max. Not loud at all. :D

thanks guys ;)

ive been discussing this with 'perthcamry' for a while now, and it doesnt seem too loud...

but it is hard to describe these sort of things over the net

so just another thing about it, if you were to compare the sound and noise level to another stock vehicle, what would it be?

ill probably end up getting one in a few weeks B)

Toyota told me they arent making them anymore, due to the obvious fact that hardly anybody was buying them...

they only have 21 left in stock, and thats it

my local dealership is selling it for $363 (includes gst), and ill probably install it myself.

That doesn't surprise me as there are not a lot of Camry enthusiasts out there.

In fact, may I dare say that all Sportivo buyers probably thought that they were supplied with the Sportivo Sports Muffler as standard and none of them actually took the time to browse through the accessories catalogue - let alone go through the spec sheet with a fine tooth-comb!

True and the springs to go with the sports shocks too. Pity they did not offer them at sale time too. ;)
