I'll bet the pressure plate isn't releasing properly.

u mean the clutch?

i step it to the end...

at 1st i thought maybe im not use to driive manual... i hope its just my Bad Habit...

but i even got other drivers to test it...

well.. for R.. its the same problem.. a loud crunch..

for 1 2 and R...

No I think it's just a common problem with the soft c@ck standard pressure plate/clutch.

Mine does grab between slow shifts from time to time. Frustrating.

Toyota states it's all ok, personally I can't wait till my clutch wears out so I can get something better put in like an exedy. Pity my wallet can wait though

the previous service.. the guy told me i will have to change the clutch soon...

like.. mayb another 20k.. or so..

so.. u guys think its the clutch problem.. not the gearbox??

if its so

hehe i was looking at the clutch on the offical TRD site.. after he said i have to change soon...

but i dont know.. which for which... theres like.. something called the cover and all.. dont know which one that im replacing...

If the synchros are worn, it will crunch only on particular ge****ts. Not all gears.

If the gear itself is worn, you can put it into gear, but it won't accelerate as if it was in neutral.

If the clutch release force is not enough, you usually crunch gears of a lower ratio. (such as lower gears and R). I suspect your clutch pressure plate.

sigh i just asked the mechanic...

he said the clutch usually last for around 130k...

so u have a LONG wait, i guess

he told me its normal... to have that problem..

does other have the same problem.. for 1-2nd gear?

the life of the clutch is totally dependant on how you drive it, eg Northy's dead 10K old clutch.

i know...

but anyway.. if i change my clutch... how much r they usually?

they told me its around $6xx, is that about right??

if so.. how much are the.. TRD ones...???? anyone bought one recently?? maybe.. northy??

and wts good about it? wt does it do??

if your going to get a clutch go for an excedy Heavy duty clutch ..... they come out of the same factory as the TRD one and in some cases is half the price ....
