Found a pair of 4" Polk fronts at a spare parts wrecker, wonder if they are any good? They are asking $10 for the pair, this was out of a 1997 Celica. Heard rave reviews about the new Polk 4" (35W RMS, 105W Max), very good bass.

Currently own a 1990 Camry CSX with a Pioneer 2750MP head unit. 5.25" Pioneer rears (3 way) and Jenson 4" fronts (2 way). Sounds OK but heard the Polks had more bass and were more power..more efficient.

Anyone know much about Polks?

Honestly, I didn't they they still existed.

When I first got into car audio in the early 90's, Polk Audio were pretty good stuff. When my car got broken into and I had my JL Audio's flogged, they were replaced with Polk for sheer value and they were fine...

$10.00 - give them a go, you can't lose anything...

They do still exist but I think they're now Momo-Polk. They started advertising recently in Car Mags
