Hilux SR5 diesel reliability

HI,

new to the forum.

Currently i have a 2003 Prado Diesel and looking to upgrade to a Dual Cab SR5 Diesel. My current Prado has ben great but she is getting a little long in the tooth!!!

Also looking at the new Ranger. it seems like an OK car and has a little more grunt and towing capacity, which a do a biot of. My preferrence is to stick with the Toyota.

Have looked around online and seen that the curent diesel has had some issues with the injectors. Not sure if this is an old issue or overblown?

Apologies if this is covered elsewhere.

Any other thoughts on the SR5 appreciated.

Thx
