Changing Parking Lights

Hi, I am having some issues trying to change the parking bulbs on my 2007 ATX.

I can get my hand through the wheel arch and disconnect the the power cable to the parking light but when i try and remove the holder it does not move at all.

I do think that i have found the correct bulb wiring in the top right hand corner (well once i disconnect the clip the light does not come on)

Am i doing this right? i know it would be hard but not this hard, i might have missed a step so if anyone could help me with the steps or pictures would be best that would be great.

So i am having trouble removing the holder after i un-click the power cord.

I did read that and found where the plug is but i can't remove it. I must be doing something wrong.
