TOYOTA on form in Spain!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

That was some great quali for Toyota. They both did good times in all three sessions with used tires from morning practice, and even a 3rd from Trulli in 2nd session :D . The last session was great, they both were crusing around with old tires and running the slowest, and with ~1.5mins to go came into the pits bolted on fresh tires did 1 flying lap and banged in 6th & 7th !!:lol: We're looking good.. fat fuel load.. and very very fresh tires B) B)

I want webber to join Toyota lol. Then I'd be into Formula 1 a bit more. Webby went to a high school here, delivered a pizza to us once as well. That was back in the days when he was raking money up to complete his dream 'F1' and was racing in the Yellow Pages Formula Ford team. I think he'll be a champion one day. I hope so, he's way dedicated.

They all say the Spanish grandprix is a measure of how good the cars are and every team knows this track inside out as most teams test here pre-season. These are some really interesting stats and i believe is a good measure of how strong each team is at the moment. Renault and Ferrari are very close and Mclaren and Honda are dead even. Toyota has been rather disappointing thus far but i'm sure with their huge budget they will get back up to speed. Ralph was actually pretty quick today and probably about the same pace as Honda and Mclaren. I just can't wait for all the new add-ons to go the cars.

Can't wait for the Monaco GP this weekend!! :D i guess im just looking forward to all the crashes and the half naked chix in the 60ft yacht and crusiers :lol: if i could go to any GP on the season, this will be it.

I really hope toyota will do well this race - some updates:

- Toyota's B-spec car has passed all the tests (inc a test faster than the maclarens!) and reliable

- Bridgestone will bring to the race "Super-soft" tires to help the teams get up the grid :D

Trulli and ralf have been qualifying pretty well.. imagine if they get on the 1st or 2nd row!

yeah i wouldnt pick them either lol :lol: ... shame on us

They're the underdogs in this race and will come out swinging

hopefully the new front suspension will be better suited for Trulli (he cant have no pts for too long)

Monte carlo Qualifying results.. Looks like a bad day for Honda again!! Toyota didn't do too good either, and with not much overtaking opportunities there its going to be a tough race but anything can happen at Monte Carlo being so narrow and bumpy. Good to see Mark Webber up there though P3!! Woohoo i wil be cheering him on to outrace Alonso and Schuey tomorrow and Jenson and Ralph should be filled right up to the brim for not making the last quali-session so hopefully they can pick up a dozen places.. :D I want to see some racing!

Man F1 is just getting boring.. thought there would be more competition this year with about 6 teams in the fight for podiums but has now turned out to be a Ferrari-Renault bitch fest as expected.. like today with Schuey spinning his Ferrari and blocking the track while the 2 other Renaults were doing their last flying laps.. ended up with the Renaults jumping up and down over it cuz Alonso was 2tenths off pole.. But man i mean there is so much money in F1 and these teams like Ferrari multiple world champs and Renault just seem to have such an advantage either psychologically or tactically, or politically, over the other teams and bargaining power is always with them. Renault and Ferrari have the money to modify their cars everyrace so that says something!

Shcuey stripped of Pole! Mark Webber in 2nd!! And Fisichella dropped to 10th from 5th! Stewarts really at work at Monte Carlo! :o

How can you say F1 is boring.. its as much a technology battle as is a drivers battle. And its not just Ferrari and Renault that have huge budgets. In fact Mclaren and Toyota are two of the biggests spenders and Renault spends the least of the top teams. And almost ALL the teams with healthy budgets have new mods to the car in every race (Toyota, Mclaren, Ferrrari, Renault, Honda, Williams, BMW). Many teams that couldnt keep up with Renault and Ferrari is because their technological development is not as good and/or their chassis to begin with wasnt suited for different tracks/temperatures.

Theres still plenty of races to go.. McLaren will catch up & win some races and hopefully toyota will get better & get some podiums.

On qualifying:

I think that its a bit tough on sending Schuey to the back of the grid. Dont think that he's that stupid to pull a stunt like "driver deliberately stopped his car on the circuit in the last few minutes of qualifying" concluded by the stewards. <_< i think thats BS.. but at least the Scheuy haters have something to cheer about <_<

Judging by the times from the 3 sessions looks like Trulli is quite heavy on the fuel, so hope he'll be able to jump a few ppl on the stops :)

was never a huge fan of Webber, he reminds my of Button "has potential, but never proven". I actually hope he does well in this race (for his sake), cause he did do well here last yr and now on the front row.. if he doesnt win here where else is he goin to win? but i get the feeling either him or the car will choke ...like Fisichella :P

Enjoy the race guys!!! i know i will :D :D :D

I got back from melb to tired to watch the race...

but saw some unfortunate incidents with Webber and Raikonnen...i think it was caused from following Alonso around all race..lol..

exhaust heat from Alonso must of overheated Webber and Raikonnen

Trulli retired from 3rd with about 5 laps to go i think....

very unfortunate..

dc should've worn klein's racing suit. then it will be complete.

i think he was rather glad he didn't have to wear that suit otherwise that would be another contreversy for the yr!

but reckon it still spices up the sport.

last yr the red bull team wore storm troopers outfits (white suit with trooper helmets) so that was cool.

this yr, the pit lane mechanics wore marvel heroes balaclavas and helmets..

since 98 with West tobacco branding on the McLarens, the pit crew always wore helmets which resembled darth vader's head gear.

it's all good!

Yeah.. the strom troopers outfit was so cool really liked it. I bet the pit crew wanted to keep it for the whole season B)

But DC with the cape just didnt match at all.. at 1st i thought he wanted to be the prince of Monaco

I wouldnt blame Webber for being ****** off..

he retires from every race....

even thought he has a contract with Williams..i think next year he should consider driving for Renault...after all Flavio is his manager...
