Atara R Paint Defect?

Hi All,

I am new to this forum, though I have owned my new Camry Atatra R since Christmas Eve

Unfortunately, 3 days after I picked it up, it was dropped back in to have windows tinted and one of the doors was dented

I complained to the dealer and they came to agreement that they would pay for repair/repaint of door. I booked it in and it was fixed shortly after, you would never even know

On the weekend, i washed the car and after drying it, i noticed that the same door has 2 destinctive faded spots on it ... Lucky for me, i chose the Wildfire Red which means I am constantly freaking out about the sun, etc as any marks on it, stand out like mad, including this.

My question to you all, is has anyone that has recently purchased one of the Atara's or new Camry's at all, had this issue of fading paint? I am just trying to establish if it is a defect of the paint, or if it is perhaps something the panel beaters may have done... As the dealer paid for repair i am not actually aware of what they did, whether they popped the dent out or fixed and repainted the entire door.

Any help/comments are appreciated.

Have you contacted the dealer and asked?
