Finally got around to debadging the rear. Forgot to take a before photo but here's what it looks like now.

Cleaned the area with a damp cloth, used hair dryer to heat up the glue then used floss to slowly take it off.
Floss kept snapping so took a little longer than it was supposed to.
After all badges were removed, used adhesive remover to remove the remaining residue and gave it a good wipe with quick detail.

  • 3 weeks later...

after a very long wait, recieved the XSP rear diffuser on friday and installed it on saturday. Took me an hour and a half to do. Only hard part is trying to line it up and have it centred.

It was extremely sunny and since my car just got a wash and wax, too much sunlight was reflecting off the car, making it difficult for my phone camera to focus properly and take a quality, detailed shot.

Tony m8 that rear diffuser looks sick, wish I had the chance to buy it!

We should meet up sometime once all our Cambyses are finished! Just a little embarrassed to have a non lowered Camry

aint nothing wrong with that; i was rolling on stockies + stock height for like over a year and a bit, gives you a chance to learn handling characteristics of the car imo

hahaha thanks man! Yeah we can even throw a meet before that.

And yeah like jeffy said, nothing wrong with that. That's what our cars were built for anyway.

What do you guys think; Should I paint the muffler black (leaving the exhaust tip stainless steel)?

Here's abit of editing using the software PAINT.

Leaving muffler stainless steel:

Paint it black:

Sprayed the mufflers black :D

I used hi-temp black spray to spray the muffler. Left the exhaust tips stainless steel. Sprayed on 3 coats leaving an hour between each spray.

Phwoah I haven't posted for a while but wanted to say this is the nicest Camry I've seen. I reckon a different number plate frame would complete this!

Update Tony?

Thanks buddy! But sorry to let you guys know that i've been running stock for the past 6-7 months. Wheels and a few other things have been sold already too. Only have my airsuspension and BC coilovers laying around in my room lol

Still have my matte roof wrap and rear diffuser on though.

What about your car Rich?

Poor neglected suspension... :( ah well... all for a good cause hopefully.

I sold two pairs of wheels before moving home as i had premature concerns about paying off two homes at once and putting money into the car as well. But now im looking at new wheels haha.
