Hello Everyone,

I have a 2003 Toyota Corolla Sportivo that I recently bought.

I bought it with aftermarket alloy wheels and replaced them with the 15" Corolla Conquest wheels as the aftermarket wheels had a damaged rim (and I couldn't find anyone selling the Sportivo wheels).

I re-used the aftermarket nuts (like a big time newbie) and noticed that they started to unwind themselves. I have since replaced these nuts with a set of 12 x 1.50mm Lug Nuts with washers ("The Wheel Doctor") from Super Cheap Auto - which they said were the correct nuts.

I again noticed that one of these nuts unwinded itself again. Upon further inspection I noticed that the washer that sits between the nut and wheel free spins.

Has anyone had this issue before? I'm presuming that the nut runs out of thread on the stud and appears tight without actually making contact with the wheel.

Any help would be much much appreciated.

Thank you in advance!!!

They are not deep enough, buy ones that are the correct ones. You may have to get them from Toyota.
