Extractor for 1zz-fe

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

Does anyone know if 2002 1ZZ have a flange join at the catalytic converter so no is welding required to fit the header? Or original engine pipe flange needed to be cut and re welded to the catalytic converter? Thanks.

if you put the aftermarket 4-2-1 headers in you need to add a flange pre-cat as they're much longer than the stock headers, also a good idea to add a flex join prior to the cat.
