Does a 2zz throttle body directly fit 1zz

Hi

Does anyone here know, if I take a throttle body from 2zzge will it directly fit onto a 1zzfe? Both would be cable activated (non drive by wire).

I'm just wondering especially on the manifold side, does the throttle body line up and seal without modification.

If you asked that question 5 years ago, you would have had a lot of replies by now. Now though, a lot of the members with the info have moved on. I hope you can still get your answer.

That is true.

I reckon there are a few original members still around... reading the posts here from time to time, though they may not be as active on the board as they were years ago i guess these core members still going strong with their projects most likely in forced induction which only a few attempted back then.

I do have the plastic manifold from a 1zz sitting around. Might just carry that over to the junkyard and see if they got a 2zz throttle body on hand, and see if it slips onto it. But appreciate if anyone can chime in that would be terrrific
