Auto dimming mirror

I'm wanting to get a auto dim mirror for my acv40 Camry. Looking around the internet at oem Toyota Camry kits with pricing starting at $350 and up to $600. I can get a second hand one for $100-$150 including postage from eBay USA but no wiring loom, will it just need power and a earth or is there more involved.

The casing is usually different between LHD and RHD mirrors to get the correct angle of adjustment to suit the driving position.

Thanks for answering a question I didn't ask Trent and from what I see the mirrors are symmetrical.

I think I may have misread the question, are you talking about door mirrors or the rear vision mirror?

In that case, disregard my previous reply. I was thinking door mirrors.

There should be 3 wires, constant 12V, switched 12V and earth. Pull out the sunglasses storage trim and you may have an unused harness in there.

I had a look today but I found nothing, thinking I might need to pull some more trim parts off as I can't get my hand in there with out damaging the roof lining. If I don't find the three wires I guess I can power from the sun roof controls. Thanks for the help.

I guess the ADM models have been wired differently than the other markets in that case.

Auto dimming mirror turn up today from the USA ($95 including post) I'll be installing this weekend. I'll up date this post when I've tried it out.

I think my dimming mirror only has 2 wires. My thermometer is in clock and not mirror on my 01 Camry le
