I just got myhands on a 2002 Gen 2 Prado diesel auto. The only Toyota I've ever owned was an 80 series, and so I have some questions.

1. Is the fuel pump system the same as my 80? That is, the IP sucks the fuel up and there is no lift pump in the tanks.

2. Can you get part time kits for the 4WD? Does it need one? My 80 sure needed one as there was a lot of drtivetrain slop. Haven't noticed it in the Prado though?

3. What's the front/rear diff set up? My 80 had a "diff lock" button to lock the front/rear diff when going off road, although this was of course rendered redundant when I put the part time kit in. What's the setup in the Prado?

That's it for now...

Cheers
