I Just replaced the 2 driveshafts in my 1991 Toyota Camry and it has developed a grinding noise in the differential. DO I need to take the diff apart, or any other ideas on what the problem could be? Thanks in advance. is thier a diff manuel around somewhere on web.I Can veiw or download.Can i remove it with the transmission left in the car.

If you have isolated it to the gearbox/diff, you will likely need to get it repaired or replace it.

If you remove the subframe and support the engine, yes.

my manuel is vague in diagrams and info is thier one on the net somewhere.

Does it not detail the removal? With or without pictures? Other than a factory manual you probably won't have any luck. They can usually be found on eBay, etc. second hand.
