I am about to collect my new used Toyota Kluger from the dealership this week. I noticed, at time of purchase, that the car was overdue for its 50000km service is was at 52000km already. Now I am worried that the manufacturer's warranty will be void because of that. How can I get written confirmation from Toyota that the car's warranty is still valid, given that car's specific service history?

The dealer will do the service before I collect.

If you email the dealer, they should be able to give you the information.

This is from an email from my dealer, it also applies for warranty:

Toyota will allow the service date to go over up to 3mths over the recommended date or up to 5,000km over, but it is recommended to not let it go over the 2mth/4,000km mark if possible, so it doesn’t affect your future servicing dates.
