Hilux 2wd 3rzfe high idle

Hi all i'm new to this site, my problem is my 2001 hilux with 3rzfe is idling too high around 1300 rpm

 i have swapped throttle body complete with IAC valve& TPS

2x iac valves test ok

replaced both inlet gaskets

replaced temp coolant sensor (new)

replaced spacer cups in head that hold injectors

replaced injector seals- orings

emptied can of throttle body cleaner looking for vac leak/s

no codes or cel display

checked / renewed vac hoses

Any other LUX owners or GURUS have any ideas, PLEASe

Did it happen all of a sudden or over time?

Only just bought it. been unregistered for 12 months. dont know any history, no mods on engine all looks standard under the bonnet

Ahhh, fixing someone else's problems..

Which temp sender did you replace? There is one for the gauge and one for the ECU.

yes bought it cheap however??????

I replaced the sensor at back of block for ecu, not gauge sender

Does the idle drop down eventually once the engine gets warm?  A lot of people owning a Toyota for the first time seem to be put-off by the cold idle speed...

No it stays the same warm or cold doesn't fluctuate at all really, drives fine no hesitation

Not sure what it's is like on the Hilux, but have you bled the cooling system to make sure there aren't any air bubbles?  Classic issue for Toyotas where air in the coolant hoses cause the cold-idle system to not function properly

Hey mate! have you found the high idle problem on your hilux? what was it?
